In Scope
- Capture employee attendance via check-in and check-out.
- Manage organizations and their deployment units.
- Manage employees, their assignments, and category (permanent, intern, consultant, locum).
- Shift-based scheduling and monthly roster planning.
- Leave and regularization workflows with hierarchical approvals.
- Reporting and bulk export (CSV, Excel, PDF).
- Audit logs for every material change.
- Multi-channel capture: web, mobile, Telegram.
- Role-based access with global / org / unit scoping.
- Geo-fencing and device binding as configurable enforcement.
- REST API for downstream systems (payroll, billing).
Out of Scope
The following are explicitly not in scope for this system. They will consume the API:
- Payroll calculations, salary structures, or deductions.
- Generation of salary slips or pay stubs.
- Billing or invoicing of client organizations.
- Statutory / tax filings (PF, ESI, GST, etc.).
- HR lifecycle beyond deployment (hiring, performance, appraisals).
Success Criteria
- 99.5% uptime during peak shift-change hours.
- Check-in completes end-to-end in under 2 seconds on 4G from the mobile app.
- Month-end reports for a 2,000-employee client generate in under 30 seconds.
- 100% of attendance write paths are audited.
- Payroll partner can pull locked monthly data by the 6th of every month.
